    Error on startup

Re-started HS3 today due to some system slowness and received an error that access was denied to scheduler.dll. After startup, no entries appear in log (completely blank) and events will not run.

Would a 'restore configuration' be something to try? Any other suggestions?

I would reboot, then make sure HS3 starts up as Administrator - assuming this is a Windows install...

      Error on startup

      Thanks for the response.

Indeed it is a Windows install. I had tried both a reboot and starting HS as admin. The full error is "Startup/System Files exception: Access to the path 'C:\Program Files\HomeSeer
      HS3\html\bin\Scheduler.dll' is denied."

For what it's worth, the log entries seem to have ended close to the date and time I copied the HS3 folder to a new PC preparing to move HomeSeer to that computer. At this point I have not completed that exercise (not registered, plugins not re-installed, etc).

Have not run into this error since starting with HomeSeer in 2004.

That html\bin folder is suspect. You might renaming that file and see if hs3 starts.
