    Memory Leak

I definately seem to have a memory problem with the newest BluetoothClient.exe. After 3-4 days on either of 2 computers it consumes all the memory. I can select exit, wait for it to close and restart it to start the process again.

2 different dongles and I think both are using the Widcomm Stack. Anyone else seeing this?

The plugin works great, but I wish I didn't have to restart!

Some widcomm stack versions are buggy and have bad memory leaks.

You should check your dongle vendor's web site to see if they have an update for the widcomm stack.

I lose 32K of memory with every poll of the software.

I'm using the IOGear Dongle from Walmart that has Broadcom (Widcomm) drivers version 5.1.0.1100. No updates on the IOGear site that I find.

Anyone else seeing this kind of problem? Could I try using the Microsoft drivers with this dongle? I'm not worried about losing the signal strength readings as I'm only using an "on/off" type of logic.

You may want to try the new version of the plugin available here:
        http://board.homeseer.com/showthread.php?t=130876

It uses a new version of the BT Communication library, and should be more stable with some BT stacks.
