    Weather forecast

How do you get homeseer to speak a weather forecast?

I'm guessing some kind of script going out online and getting the info.

Is there some kind of script repository with gems like this?

If you take a look at Jon00's site there are scripts there to download and i'm sure also speak the weather from the BBC website. I've used it with good results.

There are all sorts of other scripts and plugins out there or indeed you could write your own if there is something specific you want.

I use the weatherXML script to get forecasts spoken, it's been doing rather well for several years now. To my mind it's been the best for TTS of the forecasts, at least for me.

WeatherXML allows you to check which parts of the weather you want reported and combines them. Works well for me as well.

I'm afraid I need a little more hand holding on this.

Where do I find weatherXML and how do I set it up?

          Thanks

Found it in the Updater in case anyone else is following this thread. It includes instructions.

Only one caveat is when you are looking for your location code it does not appear correctly in Safari, I had to use Firefox.

              Thanks for the pointers guys.

*Actually you can see it in Safari if you use the view source option.
