Hi All
BIG complain on Z-Wave ROOT RESCAN function.
Doing RESCAN,
- it changes status/picture settings for existing child devices (NOT FOR ALL)
- it changes value/status settings for existing child devices (NOT FOR ALL)
- it CREATES some new duplicated child devices and makes existing obsolete.
Please check my screenshot attached below (for Aeotec Multisensor 6)
GREEN box - my regular device naming and settings
After 1st rescan
BLUE boxes - existing devices become obsolete and never updated later on
RED boxes - new duplicated devices created and become active
Status Pictures and Values - reset into some values
After 2nd rescan
ORANGE boxes - new duplicated devices created as dummy - never updated
Next rescan - do the same as 2nd and so on...
That is TRUE for any devices AND also for HOMESEER SWITCHES as well.
That is such annoying, NEW duplicated devices have new names & new Ref ID. All my Events and Scripts need to be reviewed every time.
Any advice how to avoid it?
HS3 Standard : 3.0.0.368
Z-Wave: 3.0.1.130
