ST2 Device Channel & Category Not Showing

    Hi Bob,

I have come to love the Satellite device but the current channel and category are not showing. The song works and shows as the songs plays but the channel and category do not show. I do not mind the category not showing but I would love to see the channel.

Any chance this can get fixed?

    Michael

Capture me a debug log of the channel changing and attach it zipped so I can see what is happening
The tough thing is I do not have XM or Sirius hooked up here to my ST2 in order to test this.
    Cheers,
    Bob

      Hi Bob,

I am trying but having issues. I updated to .133 when it came out and now all my zones are not responding. The last update is 9/1/2017.

I am using that version as well and my CAV66s are working fine.
        Are you getting any errors?
        Cheers,
        Bob

I had to disable the plugin and then shut down HS3 then shut off the Russound and ST2.

After a minute I turned back on the Russound and ST2. The ST2 was on channel 4. Once it came back on I set it to channel 3. then started up HS3. Once it was fully booted, I activated the plugin. Next I started the debug log and turned on the Kitchen. I tried the channel up at 11:54 but nothing happened.

I went back to the plugin and turned on the log to HS3 log and then tried the channel up again from the ST2 device. This time it logged in the HS3 log:

As a channel up from the Family Room, which is weird because it is not on. I then turned off the debug log.

Next I shut the kitchen off. I restarted the debug log and log to HS3. I then turned on the Family Room thinking since the channel up was trying to use the family room, I would "let it". I hit the channel up on the ST2 device and it again in the log show the Channel Up but the channel did not go up.

I then shut off the Family Room and turned off Debug and sent you both debug logs.

Just for grins, after the debug was off and the log to HS3 was off, I hit the channel down from the ST2 device. Nothing happened but it did log in the HS3 log as a Family Room Channel Down.

Sep-06 12:25:09 Device Control Device: 2 Family Room Channel to Down (101) by/from: CAPI Control Handler

I noticed that the Channel Down is (101) so I thought I would see what it is when I do it directly on the keypad. It did not register in the HS3 log like I thought (makes sense), but I did a Channel up and then the Channel down (sent this log too). It does show:

So maybe the ST2 device is just sending the wrong event code for a channel up and down.
