I have had an idea or too. I would like to make a relay board that creates zones to control the speakers.

The relays would be controlled from my homevision unit(port A max current 500ma,max output 50v,max power dissiaption 2w).I would need an external power supply to run the relays, what sort or is this dependant on the type of relay used?

The other side of the relay being connected to the speakes.

My problem is what sort of relay do I want to say handle 80w of speaker power and the current form the homevision unit.

Or have I got this completely wrong, if so any ideas?
