Control-Use Setting for Link Devices

Working on some SmartThings integration via IFTTT.

Doing something like this:

UPB button push sets a UPB link Device ON

Link Device Changing State to ON is detected by IFTTT

IFTTT then sets a Smartthing Virtual Device to ON

Smartthing SmartApp sees Virtual Device go ON and it changes the state of the vents in the ceiling

HomeSeer event runs when UPB link device goes to ON and turns it OFF

I had trouble getting IFTTT to see the UPB link devices because they did not have Control-Use values for ON and OFF. I manually set them, and all is good.

I mention this as you might want to set these values in the link devices.

Thanks,

tenholde
