Can't seem to get UPB to work

I ran the setup through UPStart, found the device, configured the device, tested comm, tested functionality. Exported as directed and still get the below error. I'm connecting to UPB Lamp Module...

    Any ideas?

I'm new to this so bare with me....I purchased the HAL Deluxe which came with Lamp Module and USB UPB (Module plugs into power outlet and then into computer via USB). The device worked fine with HAL setup, and the UPStart program had no problems finding and interfacing with it. At this point the HAL System is functioning as it should, on, off, dim etc. SO at least I know that the hardware is functioning...

      Does this answer your question?

There are several manufacturers of PIMs, so I was asking which one you have. You may have received one of the newer ones that has a unique USB identifier that is not yet supported. Also only one program can use the PIM at one time - just checking.

So if I'm understanding correctly, I can only use the PIM with HAL or HS at one time. Thankfully, this is how I'm configured so this shouldn't be an issue. You mentioned that there are multiple PIMs, can you tell me where I might purchase these, or is there still hope in getting mine up and running?

Thanks for your time in case I didn't mention it earlier

We should start by figuring out what you have. Can you look at the label on the interface and tell me what it says?

A stupid question....but...Are both of these models supported by HS? I think that was the issue with my HAL version. Documentation doesn't show that my model is supported

The Simply automated PIM should work fine with HS. I am using a PIM from Powerline Control Systems and it works great with HS. I purchesed it direct from PCS http://www.pcslighting.com/ Their products are a little pricey but they cater to the professional installer. They are the creaters of the UPB technology.
Another site you might enjoy is Simply Automated http://simply-automated.com/ The guys at PCS and Simply Automated welcome calls with questions on UPB.
