HSPro migration / COM port error - Solved!

After many years, I migrated my HSPro installation to a new PC.

The COM port from the old PC was COM1.

The new COM port for my Z-Troller is COM4, which I changed in setup and it is working fine.

However, in the HS log, I receive multiple entries which say:

"Cannot open COM port 1, will keep trying...: Unable to obtain a handle to the COM port"

As far as I know, I have no other devices which use a COM port.

Does anyone know where I might look for the source of the error?

    Thanks for any information.

Does the log type (to the right of the log message) give any indications if it is coming from HS or another plugin?

Can you pin the multiple entries to something like once an hour on a regular interval that might point to some script running somewhere in an event.

Was the new install a migration from the old or a clean install? If a clean install perhaps HS has automatically enabled something like the X10 plugin on COM1 ?

        Thanks guys.

I found a script in the scripts folder that was opening COM1. I just moved it out of there and no more log errors.

        Thanks for the help.
