          Is there any feedback from the hubs? For example is there a way if, for example, someone uses the Harmony remote to fire things off that HS can be notified?

            The only way is to poll the hub from the plug-in. If someone have started an activity the hub knows that and the plug-in will know it too after the hub is polled....

            As long as there is no public api with extensive functionalities I cannot do more than this....

              Then it would be Nice to be able to poll with an event.

                Hi Harry,

                You mean besides the polling interval you can specify in the plugin config ?

                        Yes. Because than you van create a screen in hstouch which triggers the poll when opened. Or you can put a poll in an event to check device conditions to match the status of the harmony hub.

                          Rien,

                          Will it be possible to send individual IR command by use of the released plugin? Such as volume+/- , temperature up/down etc?

                          And as already stated, but i know the limitation, it would be great to get the hub push changes to the plugin;

                          Create a dummy Harmony device, to control devices in homeseer. As soon as u use the physical remote to control the virtual device, the plugin will recieve those command from the hub and can interact which the devices in homeseer.

                          Regards and thanks for the great work Rien

                            Hi Bart,

                            Than every IR command would take 15-20 seconds to complete, which would make it totally unusable in my opinion. Volume up 3 points would take a minute :-(

                            I haven't tried yet, but it would be easier to create a dummy activity with the IR command you would like to sent and run that activity from HS.
                            Regards,

                              Rien, please explain the above further? Why would sending an individual IR command take 15-20 seconds?

                                The way it is done now, that I have to authenticate to the internet/Logitech account and the hub first to sent a single command, This authentication takes a long time unfortunately.

                                I am looking for other ways to sent a sequence of commands after authentication, but for this first release this is not supported....
