Need help reset

I mistakenly while trying to change display properties selected laptop display now when system boots up, I can no longer see display on my monitor. What can I do can?
Any F-Key to select ?
Remove internal battery?

Try booting in safe mode if you can. This may go to the default display. Hold F8 on booting.

I still have trouble with display ran updates that did not help

Screen resolution: 640 by 480 pixel

Low Color quality: 8 bit

If I change setting at all I loose signal to monitor.

Try to remote VNC into the hometroller. From there you can adjust/fix your display settings.
