Parrent device missing on html/status page

I am trying out the plugin and I am not able to see the Parent device on the Device Status page (http://10.1.1.2/status). I can only see the 3 sub devices. I am using the status pages for controlling my lights manually and want to be able to turn the lights on and off from there. On the DeviceManagement page (http://10.1.1.2/deviceutility) I can see all 4 devices. See the attached images. How can I show the parent device on the Device Status page?

I am using HS 3.0.0.318 on Windows with JowiHue ver 1.1.2.9

I believe that the status page does not allow the root devices to be added. I remember me reporting this a long time ago, but there was no follow up that.
I never hunted it really as I do not have any use for the status page so far.

It is the same with zwave devices, the root device is not shown on the status page, just checked here. So I am afraid I cannot do anything to change that behaviour?

    Thanks,

    Wim

Create a sub-device for the controls?

      Hi

      Thank you for your reply.
Is there a possibility to move the controls on/off/dimming to a child device then? I have about 40 hue lamps I am about to add. And like it is now, I will have to duplicate them with a Virtual Device and a lot of events to make it work.I am using the status page like this:

Other than this problem, the plugin works great. Thanks for that

      Thank you in advance.

        Vidar,

I am sorry, but I am not planning to do that. The status page of HS should just enable the use of root devices on its pages. Moving the on/off functions to another child device would - in your case - create 40+ extra devices (including the groups).
I guess HST thinks there should be no functions on the root devices, where I cannot think of any reason why it should not.

        Sorry for that

        Thanks,
