Does anyone know if there is an irrigation controller in the works, or even better being tested.

Have not heard mention of one. What would you need it to do? If its a simple on off type feature perhaps you could make something and just use a Z-Wave relay switch to activate it. -
several controllers are available. I use a Rain8Net (wgldesigns.com I think). There is another called Irrigation something or other. There are also many commercial high priced units. A quick Google search should turn up many.
There are a few plugins in HS that can monitor / control.
MSCControl (MSCTemp plugin) is one, and another for Rain8Net plugin. Rain8Net also has their own web based software on their website.
There are both X10 and serial versions available.Comment
