I've been having some issues with my X10 security devices, and I'm not sure how to carry on debugging the issue.
I'm running HS 3.0.0.313, with RFXCOM 30.0.0.35 on Windows 10.0.15063.
About 6 weeks or so ago, all my X10 security sensors stopped working. I did some poking around, but work and getting ready for my wedding didn't leave me much time. I did have an RFXrec433 and a Serial W800RF32A (one of the original serial connected ones) hooked up, and it has been working for years (from HS2 onwards).
Since all the security devices stopped working, I made the (probably incorrect) assumption that the W800 had took a nosedive, so I ordered a replacement one - a W800USB41032. I hooked it up, but it made no difference. I thought maybe the RFXrec433 was causing some funkiness, so I also disconnected that too - but that didn't resolve things.
I then went and disconnected the batteries from all the X10 Security devices (all DS10s, with the exception of a RadioShack motion sensor (an MS10 I think?)). I put the batteries back into one of the DS10s, pushed the test button, checked on the Security Sensor page for a new RF sensor being found, and nothing.
So, went away, got married, came back.
Checked out the new RF sensor page, and there were a whole stack of sensors showing, which there really shouldn't have been, since only 2 devices still had batteries in them.
I deleted those, and I've been messing around for the last couple of days, and nothing is coming back.
Rebooting HS3, I get the following in the logs.
Jul-27 11:30:29 AM RFXCOM Receiver #1 alive check
Jul-27 11:27:43 AM RFXCOM Receiver #1 alive check
Jul-27 11:26:18 AM RFXCOM 35 (RecRxChar) receiver #1 with dvref:388 initialized
Jul-27 11:26:18 AM RFXCOM 35 (RecRxChar) receiver #1 successfully initialized to 32 bit mode
Jul-27 11:26:17 AM RFXCOM 35 (InitIO) RFXCOM version is:30.0.0.35
I'm also seeing several unknown packets in the logs.
Jul-27 11:29:37 AM RFXCOM 35 (RecRxChar) Unknown packet: 205ED6D42B
Jul-27 11:29:34 AM RFXCOM 35 (RecRxChar) Unknown packet: 20BADBAD52
Jul-27 11:29:15 AM RFXCOM 35 (RecRxChar) Unknown packet: 20AA8D55AA
Jul-27 11:28:54 AM RFXCOM 35 (RecRxChar) Unknown packet: 207AB7AE51
Jul-27 11:28:27 AM RFXCOM 35 (RecRxChar) Unknown packet: 207AB74AB5
Jul-27 11:28:26 AM RFXCOM 35 (RecRxChar) Unknown packet: 20557D55AA
Jul-27 11:26:51 AM RFXCOM 35 (RecRxChar) Unknown packet: 205A2AD52A
The config of the WS800 looks to be ok - I'll try and attach some pics in a moment.
Any suggestions what to try next to try and debug this?
