HAI Plugin Beta v3.0.1.22 AC Power Testing

Tested AC power loss this morning.

Plugin changed status to power off in a timely manner but did not change to power on when restored - after 10 minutes.

Here waited until I got an alert on the keypad. Variable changed fine. I waited about 3 minutes to AC power panel.

Keypad showed change in power but variable in HS3 didn't change after 15 minutes of power on. Well now it's been more than 20 minutes since testing and variable is still showing AC trouble.

Comparing AC power line status to HS2 serial plugin - it was just about instant.

    Thanks Pete.

The way HAI handles the system troubles is very different than other areas of the panel. You would think that an AC power fail would generate an alert that the plugin could pick up - the same way that a zone or area does. You actually have to 'poll' the panel periodically to request the status.

I added that polling option to this version, but other users are reporting some random disconnects that may be related.

I'll get this sorted out asap - thanks!

Not a problem Rob....going baby steps here as I am redoing my panel a bit cuz it turned in to a spaghetti mess. Initially was using cat5e cable which was a mistake after first 16 zones (and worse after 32/48 zones cuz I mixed it with 22/4 and 22/2 cable).

Primarily here using yellow 22/4 and 22/2 stranded alarm cable. For thermostat redo today replaced cat5e cable with grey 24/4 station cable which is solid core. Still going to install second Omnistat for testing HSTouch.

The trouble status on the HS2 plugin was unique as it shows any trouble with the panel versus the variable trouble status such that both HS2 variables changed at the same time.
