    Annoucements Taking Long Time

    Hi
I have been successfully using this PI for quite some time. Thank you very much for creating.

I have recently run into very long delays from 4 to 6 minutes before hearing the announcements. In the past just a second or two was all the time it needed.

I have created a super debug log for your review. Test was to play "Garage Door Deb has Opened".

Please let me know if there is anymore info I can provide.

Oh, one more thing. If second message is queued before the first has played there is not a long delay before hearing the second message after the first. (Hope that makes sense)

Can you post your linkgroup table and tell me which one you are using? I see errors from players (pool and especially bar) , are all your players on-line ESPECIALLY the source player as selected in your linkgroup table?

Did you try to restart anything, such as PI or HS+PIs? Maybe reboot player pool and bar if they are on-line. The trace seem to suggest that player BAR is either not responding or it takes forever. What player is that, make sure your screenshot has linkgrouptable and playertable

      Ok. That Helped.

I removed "Pool" and "Bar" from the link groups destination players. This allows the announcements to play quickly.

Now onto fixing "Pool" and "Bar" players.

Any Idea why I get Access Denied errors on these players.

      Examples Below:

ERROR in DeletePreviousSavedQueues/Browse for zoneplayer = Bar with UPNP Error = Read only tag / Transport is locked / Access denied. Error = MyUPnPService.InvokeAction for ServiceID = http://10.0.1.178:1400/xml/ContentDirectory1.xml while preparing to send Action = Browse for URI = http://10.0.1.178:1400/MediaServer/C...ectory/Control and Request = SQ: BrowseDirectChildren * 0 10 with error = Unable to connect to the remote server

ERROR in DeletePreviousSavedQueues/Browse for zoneplayer = Pool with UPNP Error = Read only tag / Transport is locked / Access denied. Error = MyUPnPService.InvokeAction for ServiceID = http://10.0.1.180:1400/xml/ContentDirectory1.xml while preparing to send Action = Browse for URI = http://10.0.1.180:1400/MediaServer/C...ectory/Control and Request = SQ: BrowseDirectChildren * 0 10 with error = Unable to connect to the remote server

Can you post some screen shots. What are these players? Are they linked, grouped, paired? Have you tried to reboot them?
