    Audio jack on Z-NET V2

I see that there's an audio jack on my new Z-NET box. Is there any way to use that jack for speech output?

Welcome to the Homeseer forum Bruce.

If you could run Homeseer Touch for Linux on the RPi then maybe.

There is no Homeseer 3 Linux speaker client like the Homeseer 3 Windows speaker client (which is a Microsoft SAPI client).

I have been able to get Microsoft SAPI to run on an Intel Linux computer but never got speaker dot exe running in Wine or PlayonLinux.

You can run SqueezePlayer on the RPi and utilize the Homeseer Speech proxy built in the third party Homeseer SqueezePlayer plugin.
