    water/gas meters

    Ok so i would like to add a gas meter and water meter to my Aux5 port on my 2 Brultech units...

    anyone here use any that they have found works good?
    i have my default stuff setup now... still in the setup portion as in rate per kw and the sort.. still got a few open channels too...
    brultech 1 - ch2 & 5
    brultech 2 - ch1,2 & 5

    i saw a water meter with pulse with a quick google for $50.... also didnt see anything on here...

      I don't have any experience with the Brultech but how about

      I don't know anything about US plumbing but my main cold water feed is a 1/2" pipe, the last one looked appealing to me for $10, however I don't quite understand the documentation as to exactly how many pulses I would get per litre (whereas the 3/8" sensor says 0.004L per pulse).

      I shelved my plans eventually as I don't get billed by how much water I use so it was last on my things to do...

      I was lucky in the fact my gas meter had a magnet inbuilt that if I fixed a reed switch to it I would get a pulse every dm3 of gas used, do you have anything similar? I then counted the pulses using HomeSeer and then calculated a kW reading,
