Would this work to monitor and control the HS2 computer itself? Specifically, remotely reboot and restart HS2 remotely over the internet?

      Here is the scenario:
      - HS2 is running in a 2nd home.
      - Observe that occassionally the Zwave interface gets hung and have found that a reboot of the computer fixes the problem.
      - From a computer connected to the internet (remote to the 2nd home), reboot the HS2 computer and have HS2 application start when the computer restarts.

      Thanks,
      Ernie
If you want, I'll add optional Dynamic DNS and IPAddress match list to the client. That way it would only respond to recognised IP addresses for security. Anyone else interested in this feature?

OK, I have now added this feature. Just waiting for any bug reports before I release the next version.

          Hello Jon,

I have play several hours with the plugin,
There are some nice features with this plugin.
I Have noticed that when i start a pc then i cannot see if the pc is turned on
Because i have not logged in
So is there a possibility to deal with that
This is only with remote control
With network monitor i see the device when the recurring event started

I'm not sure I can deal with that. The client would probably need to be installed as a service but I do not have the tools for that.

                Hello Jon,

I have found a way to load the client before the login.
Maybe useful for some other people
Make a scheduled task and use the option start before login.
This works perfect without the need of extra programs.
And no need to load as a service

                Ed

Thanks for that Ed, I'll add that to the documentation.

Have you found any more uses for this?

                    @Jon,

                    Plugin looks great.
Hoop the .net ping bug is not a problem in your plugin.
as Ed posted before this is a great combination of all the available scripts plugins in one controle.

Are there any OSX or printers commands that can be used?
or check the printer queue if there is any turn on the printer.

Only time will tell regarding the bug but I have not had a problem. If you have encountered this issue, perhaps you would be a good candidate to test?

As I don't own a MAC, I have never looked into OSX. At present, no it is not supported.

                        Thanks,
Downloaded documentation's looks good lot tuning options.

Will report if found any problem.
at the moment 80% of my domotica hardware is down because of a renovation.

                          Hey John,

Hibernate and Sleep appear to do the same thing. I added Button 11 and 12 for Hibernate and Sleep.

I used the hibernate command for the button. Hibernation is enabled on the PC.

That may be the case ....it depends on the version of Windows you are using. I think XP uses both.

I was going to post about this, but thought I screwed up something on my end...have to check the problem area between the keyboard and chair first!

If this doesn't get resolved, I'll just fire a command to a program called powerdown. It will properly hibernate my PC. It's what I used until I started to play with this!

Tasker, to a person who does Homeautomation...is like walking up to a Crack Treatment facility with a truck full of 3lb bags of crack. Then for each person that walks in and out smack them in the face with an open bag.
