    Bye Bye Standby (BBSB) Setup

    Hi,
    I have RFXCOM plugin operating some Somfy blinds and the plugin works flawlessly.

    I'd now like to add some BBSB mains plugs which I have lying around and I cannot for the life of me work out how to do it.

    I've read the RFXCOM plugin documentation and understand I need to use the ARC protocol, so I've enabled that but I can't then see how to 'pair' the individual BBSB devices.

    I've see a couple of mentions to BBSB in the forum but cannot find any assistance in first setup of them.

    Any advice would be most appreciated.

    Add a BBSB Output device, see chapter 8.13 in the RFXCOM HS3 User Guide.

    You can use RFXmngr to receive the BBSB remote and use Lighting5 - BBSB to control a BBSB module.
    Use the same ID and unit code in the HS3 BBSB output device.

      Hi There, thank very much for the quick reply. I've installed RFXmngr and can now see feedback when I use the BBSB remote buttons.

      I have set the remote and receiver units to group A, so if I press button 1 on then off I get the following...

      Packettype = Lighting1
      subtype = ARC
      Sequence nbr = 38
      housecode = A
      unitcode = 1
      Command = On
      Signal level = 8 -56dBm
      ------------------------------------------------
      ------------------------------------------------
      Packettype = Lighting1
      subtype = ARC
      Sequence nbr = 39
      housecode = A
      unitcode = 1
      Command = Off
      Signal level = 8 -56dBm

      ...this shows me house code is A and unit code is 1. I'm not sure how to then work out the specific 'ID' for each device is. If I go to Lighting 5 and try to control a device I need to put in an ID, which you mention would be the same in HS3, but how do I determine the ID?

        Do you use Ext firmware?

        Create an ARC output device using A1

          SOLVED.

          Thats what I was looking for, set up an output device using ARC_MODULE and set to A1, A2 etc and they are working perfectly.

          Thank you very much.
