Any thoughts to making this device POE

Making this device POE would make its placement significantly easier.

I bought this to make mine POE. I haven't installed it yet, but I will be soon. You can get either passive POE or Active. I went with Active as I have an 8 port active POE injector.

Not directly, but you can make it POe. They sell kits on eBay that allow you to inject power from a wall wart over a cat 5 line. And then split it out on the other end. I purchased one a while back to work a Pi and display and it works well.

I use something very similar for my Z-Net. I have an 8 port POE injector (about $25) at the other end which I also use for 4 cameras.

I use one of these https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Gigab...k+poe+splitter.

A few others are scattered around feeding other none-POE devices.
