Thanks, Pete. #4 (Tech Support Fraud) was similar to what I posted earlier regarding my experience with "tech support" for NETGEAR via Amazon.

Typically have seen non MFG support forums doing a way better job of support than the actual MFG of products these days except for a few hardware or software forums.

For example dsl reports forum does way better with ISP support and hardware than the product manufacturers. They are way on the cheap lately.

Same with Microsoft, Google, Amazon, et al. These guys do not care or have any control over the "3rd party" support entities such that most are very willy nilly these days.
