    motion sensors

A couple of my Marmitek MS90 motion detectors have 'died' recently and I need to replace them with something that is preferably a little less expensive. Suggestions would be very welcome.

Kerui sensors can be received by the RFXtrx433 and RFXrec433:

Can these devices replace my X10 motion and DS10 door sensors?

Interested in a complete alarm system from them that will work with your RFXrec433 and homeseer. any recommendations?

        Thanks for your input

Kerui sensors are received as Lighting4 devices with the RFXrec433 and RFXtrx433.

If you have the RFXrec433E or RFXtrx433E use Ext2 firmware. Enable Lighting4 and X10 and the Kerui sensors are decoded as X10 security sensors.

Edit: the RFXrec (non-E version) can receive Kerui sensors as X10 sensors using firmware version 1025 which will become available soon.

Do these work with the older original rfxcom receiver? (small metal box with telescope antenna)

The old RFXCOM receivers do not have the Lighting4 protocol implemented and cannot receive other devices than listed in the old pdf: Oregon, ARC, HomeEasy, Ikea Koppla, X10 EU.

Bert I've got X10 and Lighting4 enabled but it picks it up as an AD input device?

Please check what is received in RFXmngr with only Lighting4 enabled.
                        Use the latest Ext2 firmware.

Send the result to support rfxcom.com

                              I tried this one RFXtrx433_Ext2_1024.hex.
It says no RFXtrx433E hardware detected.
