    UPS monitor

Ok.. what are folks using to monitor their UPS's? I thought there was a plugin available... I see that there is a BLUPS plugin from Blade, but seemed to remember there was others.

    Anyone?

APC makes a consumer grade UPS that has Ethernet - web page to setup, and I assume, IP packets (broadcast?) on power failure. I wonder how well it works.

    http://www.apc.com/resource/include/...otal_watts=200

I wish they had one larger than 500VA for consumers.

    $120 or less...

I have a USB attached UPS. There is a small issue in that my UPS is a Tripplite and not an APC - which seems to be the defacto standard...
The Tripplite software works fine - just that I cannot get to the java-based application from outside despite having the proper port opened. It does do the shutdown accordingly once the battery gets low. I figure this can be done with HS and HS plugin as well as tracking of power hits. Two of which I am considering are Blade's BLUPS and now tensHSPower. Again, I am running Windows 2000 server and not XP.
