I recently added all my existing Insteon devices to a new install of HS3 using the plugin. This of course read the existing links from the devices. I see that there are a number of devices that have a link "... is controlled by HomeSeer using RF PLM Group#12 (Button Control Group) - On Level : On". This is about 80% of my devices that have group#12 listed. Then I added a KPL and one of the buttons also got Group#12. So when I issue a HS command to turn on that button, 80% of my devices go on! I deleted the KPL, reset it, added it again and get the same result. Do I have to delete, reset and add all my devices to get this cleaned up or is there an easier way? Thanks!

If you have a group 12 defined then delete that group. Otherwise You need to delete the group link for the devices that respond.Mark

I think I know what happened here.... those devices were all part of a group in my HS2 system so when I added them to my new HS3 it read those links and kept them but the actual group no longer existed, then the group number was reused by HS3. So I'll delete all those links as you suggest. Thanks.Last edited by skimis; January 19, 2018, 06:47 AM.
