Why Won't Alexa see my Z-wave Lock - Solved!

Not sure what sub-section this belongs in, but I THINK it's a z-wave issue.

Tried incorporating the Kwickset Zwave Lock

Z-Wave setup up fine. All 1+4 child processes imported on the first try.
(Hub, Last event, battery, Status, logging)

I can Manually (z-wave from Home page) Lock/Unlock the device. (status)

QUESTION: Why doesn't Alexa see it when I do a Discover?

Voice Commands is Checked. What else is needed?

I tried changing the name to something that didn't sound like something else, no luck, not being picked up at all.

Because your lock is not a on / off or dimmer device.
Alexa doesn't automatically work with locks...up until recently.

But that new feature requires either a SmartHub or a Wink I believe.
You could also use the advanced Alexa setup for HS3 or create your own virtual devices.

Ok, I have both BASIC and Advanced links set up and running.

Basic would be "Alexa, unlock the front Door"

Advanced would be "Alexa Tell HomeSeer to unlock the Front Door"

Basic "Unlock Front Door Lock" returns "I couldn't find any device called Front Door Lock in your account"

Advanced "Alexa tell HomeSeer to Unlock Front Door Lock"
      WORKED !

Ok, now to integrate it, mount it, and do all the other stuff to make it work in real life.
