Hue Bridge IP address Change Warning

I recently had to change the static IP' and now I'm getting two issues in the HS3 Log file

Warning: Bridge Philips Hue 1 Changed IP from 192.168.199.224 to .106

I can't seem to figure out how to change or clear this error that shows up in the logs..

What steps do I need to take to clear the two errors?

    Devoir,

The plugin should update the bridge device, but for some reason there is an error in your situation. The fastest way to repair this is to stop the plugin and delete only the bridge device (nothing else!). Then start the plugin again, it will recreate the bridge device and should not bother about the ip change any more

Let me know if this works?

    Thanks,

    Wim

      to be clear

      1 stop JowiHue plug-in

2 go to Bridge Maintenance page

3 delete Philips Hue 1 ( this is the bad IP .106)

      4 restart the plug-in

      Many Thanks

        Devoir,

Not on the bridge maintanance device, but on the deviceutility page! Delete the device for the bridge in the HS3 deviceutility page while the pugin is stopped.

        Thanks,

        Wim

          Device Utility Page

This is the page to delete the device while the plug-in is disabled?

            Devoir,

That is the device, yes... deactivate the plugin before that.

It shows up in the log starting Scan

Also I went upstairs and pushed the button on Bridge Hue 1. Hoping this was all it needed.

It can't find the missing Hue 1 bridge nor rebuild the bridge...

I can ping Hue 1 at 192.168.199.106, so it's alive on the network

Am I missing something or steps I should be taking?

                Devoir,

Is UPNP enabled on your network? What if you go to the bridge: http://192.168.199.106/description.xml on the homeseer machine?

Also test https://www.meethue.com/api/nupnp on the hs3 machine? Does it return both bridges?

                  Wim,

Is UPNP enabled on your network? Yes it appears to be enabled on the PC running HS3

What if you go to the bridge: http://192.168.199.106/description.xml on the homeseer machine? It appears I can get results from .106 and .107 as seen in the screen shot

I'm not sure I see either bridge in the screen shot...

                    devoir,

That is weird then as I would expect it would find the bridge.
Can you do me a favor and set the trace options in the configuration page to detailed logging and trace to file. Then restart the plugin and let it run for 30 minutes or so?

Thaqn disable both detailed logging and logging to file, do not stop the plugin. In the Logs subdirectory of the HJS3 installation you will find a JowiHue.log. Can you send this one to me?
Do not post it to the board, but send it to w dot vuyk at upcmail dot nl

                    Thanks,

                    Wim
