Dome Siren Battery Always Unknown

Does anyone have any Dome Sirens? If so what are the batteries showing as a status? I have 2 sirens and have excluded/included and changed batteries and accidentally dropped them on the floor and they still always show as unknown.
Anyone have these and get a steady battery reading? thanks

I just got one of these to try out and battery is working fine for me. Did you get yours working eventually? What's your opinion on the siren including battery life?

I have no issues with (daily) reporting. As for the battery life, I started keeping accurate records at the end July 2018 and the battery level at the time was 60%. It dropped to 25% in four months (end of December). It now shows 97% with occasional drops to 90. So, my guess is 1 year but the siren is being used for generating any sounds very rarely.
