    Hello

    Hi,
Thanks for the prayers and thoughts. This will be a short post.

The surgery took a total of 12 hours and had 3 different specialists involved.
I'm home from the hospital as of May 22nd. Before I left for home they removed 2 drainage tubes. They have continued to leak making it hard to sit up. As long as I lay down there was no leaking. One hole healed up over the weekend. The other one finally healed up enough that I can sit up today. Food is just now starting to actually look good. The incision on my chest is about 18 inches in length and still very sore.

I won't be up to posting much for a while yet but wanted to let you know where I am in the process.

    Jeff,
It's good to hear from you. Don't worry about us here as this is unimportant in the grand scheme of life and your health is number one for now. Get to feeling better and then come back and visit for a while. It's really good to hear the progress. Get well and relax and enjoy life and the family.
