Import codes to gc-100-06 don't work

I have a GC-100-6 with a GC-IRE connected to the serial port, with an RG-1 IR receiver attached to that. I'm able to learn codes and save to file with iLearn. However, when I attempt to import the codes to HSPro/UltraGCIR, I select the file and click "upload", I see the list of codes with edit/delete icons, and I click "save IR data". Nothing appears to save though, because no codes show up under the IR Control tab. The devices are there, but codes count remains at 0.

Import problem fixed...now problem sending codes

I tried uploading the codes while on the console of the HS2 system, and the import worked. Previously I was connected from a remote web browser. Annoying (it is a Win7 VM on ESXi) , but workable.

Now I'm trying to send the codes from HomeSeer, but nothing happens. I see the ethernet port flash on the gc-100 when I send commands, but the controlled device does not respond. I tried replacing my dual emitters with the stock gc single emitters, no change. I've got the emitter on the glass right next to the one for my URC base, and the original remote still works with all that in the way.

I've turned on debug in UltraGCIR, it appears to send the commands to the gc-100 and get an ack, but nothing works. I've also moved the emitter to the other 2 ports, it is on #1 at the moment. Here's the debug log:

The IR codes are for a Yamaha RX-v2400. I'm trying to get zone2 commands working so I can create a HSTouch app for iPad, and have remote control from outside!

next step is to go back and try the gc app iTest again. It didn't work earlier but the app kept crashing, and it was 3am, so I bailed on it.

    Thanks for any help.

Sorry, I missed this post. Can you send me the raw file you are trying to upload?

In my experienced, the Global Cache IR Learner program cannot learning IR codes from certain devices. The work-around is to find the device IR hex codes on the Internet, then convert the Hex to the Global Cache codes using iConvert.
