    Scenemaster init failures

recently scenemaster is getting into a failure mode where auto-restarts don't fix it. Seems that when i manually disable and re-enable the PI from the PI-management page it works fine, for a while at least.
Now i'm also seeing the same failures on HS3 start-up.

I attached a couple snips from the HS log file showing the errors.
    i'm running 1.2.2.0

Thanks for any help -- Scenemaster is pretty tightly stitched into my system design -- when it fails the house is messed up.

I have not seen any reports of this before, albeit I have seen issues with a number of plugins starting with UW3 is on the system. I reported the issue to him, he blamed HS and didn't investigate. Any chance you could disable that for a few hours and check if this issues clears up during that time?

I noticed you have a few other plugins from the same author, I only have WU3, so (if possible) you may try the same test with the others as well (I realize this can be a pain, so no heroics, just trying to narrow down if there is indeed a common issue since I saw this as well)

success! (at least initially) see attached log file snips (scenemasterX1 -X4)
i rebooted the PC and let it auto-start HS3 per usual. (X1)
You can see in X2 that Scenemaster fails, then tries again and fails, etc. That's the behavior I was seeing.
Then I killed UW3 (file X3), and when scenemaster restarted again (automatically) it worked fine. File X4 shows the completion.

Not my place to say anything about UW3 but i do think i'll run for a while without it. If that is the issue I hope it can get sorted -- all these PIs become important when you build interfaces and functions that use them.

Thanks a ton for the fast help. -mike

sorry i'm not sure if the filenames are visible, but in my view X1 is top and X4 is bottom. just use the timestamps to sort them out....

The UW3 author replied that he found an issue and you should upgrade to "UltraWeatherWU3 HSPI version 3.0.6702.34494." and see if that resolves it.

                Hello,

Can you make a backup of your HomeSeer folded then upgrade to the latest version of HomeSeer =====> 3.0.0.435 ===> See if the problem persists.
I use the plugin with no issues!
