    Interpreting Energy usage

    For all electrical engineers....

So I have an Aeon multi-sensor node which reports power usage. It does so for each leg (phase) of a connected device. So I have a 240 volt pool pump which is monitored. However, the power usage (kwh) doesn't make sense to me. I reset the power to zero at midnight and the pump shuts off at 7:00 AM.

So what's the total power usage then of my pump? Is it 9kwh? If so, this doesn't make sense since my house has only consumed 12.7 kwh so far.
