3.0.0.304 Linux - broke echo

I just installed 304 and all my echo devices stopped responding. Alexa saying that the devices may be powered off.
I went to alexa.amazon.com and forgot all my devices, deleted homeseer skill, re-enabled homeseer skill, discovered devices and non of them came back.

Rolled back to prior version and its working again

I was just about to install Jon00's Alexa helper plugin but see it required 304 for linux.

Is anyone running 304 on linux with Alexa?
I'm currently just doing option 1 but for Jon00's plugin was going to setup the option 2 approach, but need 304 - which broke my option 1. Hope that makes sense.
