Is there a plug-in for any of the wifi outlets that are all over Amazon?

If not, I might be interested in creating one, but do you know if they require internet to access? (Is it possible to control them from your network without having internet access)

I used a single wifi outlet to be able to reboot a non responsive HS3 or server. But having HS3 control that would not be of much use at that point which is why I have wifi and can reboot without the need of HS3.

Since Z-wave outlets cost around the same price and can help the mesh network i don't see a big advantage to buy wifi outlets vs. z-wave ones.

I didn't even think about the z-wave options. I'll go that route.
