    Z-Net stopped working - Fixed!

I had my power bounce this morning and when it came back up my Z-NET has stopped working. I tried rebooting and it still is not working. I can see the device on the network but the green light on the z-wave module is not on.

I hooked a monitor to it and rebooted and I'm seeing an error message.

"Unable to determine hardware version. I see: Hardware : BCM2835
    - expecting BCM2708 or BCM2709

If this is a genuine Raspberry Pi then please report thia
to project@dragon.net. If this is not a Raspberry Pi then you
are on your own as wiringPI is designed to support the
    Raspberry Pi ONLY.
[FAILED] Failed to start /etc/rc.local Compatibility."

    Any help would be appreciated

Did you update the OS or anything? In this thread, the same error came up after an OS upgrade.

The rpi3 processor is the BCM2835, so it's not clear why that isn't being accepted. Perhaps reinstalling the wiringPi package would do the trick. The user in that thread managed to recover so hopefully you can as well.

I found the link in the other thread to rebuild the SD card, After downloading and copying to new SD Card my Z-NET is back up and functioning.

Not sure why this happened as I have not touched the unit since I first installed it.

Cool. Strange though... in the other thread the last post was another of the same issue, so you're at least the 3rd... Glad you got it fixed!
