    Mark,

We recently had a Vista 20p panel fail and subsequently replaced it. It appears that all the functions of your plugin still work except who armed/disarmed. Through HSTouch I can command the panel to arm and get status as well. I have events that trigger based on user number. All users have an event that is supposed to trigger. Some of those user numbers got shuffled during the panel replacement so I updated those events accordingly. All of this worked great before the panel replacement but now none of the user events trigger. I turned on debug mode in the plugin and see no errors nor any user messages. I have turned off/on the plugin and rebooted the Hometroller.
I checked the app provided by the alarm monitoring company and it correctly shows which user armed/disarmed.

    What do you recommend?

    Thanks,
    Robert

Yes. Actually, we didn't have to change any of the plugin's settings after the panel replacement.

do the arm-stay or arm-away buttons on the system status device work?

please enable debug mode and retest and see if the plugin is sending commands

No. I clicked the Arm Away button on the System Status and there is no log entry and the panel doesn't arm either.

what plugin version are you running?

the latest beta requires a one time mod:
On the Partition and System Status devices change the value of Arm-Away to 106

have you changed the names of any of the buttons

what about if you create event actions to arm and disarm, do these work?

my next suggestion is going to be to update to the latest beta and then add the following to the [general] section of the vista alarm.ini file

                      RecreateDevices=1

                      and restart plugin

The latest beta (3.0.0.15) in the updater section is older than the released version.

ok. well ignore that, and try the RecreateDevices feature I mentioned

and try the event action test

That might have done it. Since people are at work, I can't armed it for real right now so I propped open a door and clicked Arm Away on the System Status device. New log entries appeared:

I'll arm it when everyone leaves for the day and report back.
