    HS3PRO and Z-Tool

Long time reader, first time poster

Been wanting to purchase HS3PRO for a long time and was waiting for a sale like the "Black Friday Sale". I'm all ready to make my purchase but had a question about Z-Tool

    Is Z-Tool still been developed?
Is it something that is required/recommended with a HS3PRO install?
Is it include free with HS3PRO?
    Do you even need it?

    Comments and suggestions appreciated.

    Thanks

It may be handy to have depending on what type of z-wave interface you have and what type of system you intend to install HS on. To add devices to a z-wave network, a portable controller makes it much easier, but there are ways around it. If you intend to run HS on a laptop or have a portable controller, then you don't need it. From what I understand it's only used to add devices to a controller, so it'll work with both HS2 and HS3.

    Cheers
