Why is my HS3 restarting automatically?

Since the upgrade to HS3 Pro Edition 3.0.0.435 whenever I purposely shut down HS3 for PC maintenance (i.e. Windows updates, Norton updates, etc.) within a few minutes HS3 restarts again.

Why is that? Never did that in previous versions.

I have Sentry on (always had) but I thought that was just for crashes.
    Regards,
    Chris

HSSentry was changed such that it will restart HS if it stops for ANY reason. The change was with a beta earlier this year. I like the change, but it results in HS being started a minute or so after shutdown. If you start HSSentry on its own, it will now start HS a minute or so later. I launch task manager and stop HSSentry when I want it shut down.

There are some parameters to control how it functions.

You can pick the IP if you have multiple adaptors, set the number of errors before a restart and how frequently it is checked.

Hey thanks for the explanation Randy; of course it didn't dawn on me that HSSentry was a separate process (duh!).
