We can provide full (free) hardware kits including wireless sensors, relay board, RGB Strip driver and USB interfaces to anyone interested in developing a HS plugin for panStamp (wiki: https://github.com/panStamp/panstamp/wiki).
panStamps are open source low-power wireless modules programmable from the Arduino IDE. Sample applications using our compact SWAP protocol are available so you have not to develop any custom application for the wireless modules if you only want to measure temperatures, humidity, pressure or soil moisture for example.
On the software side, we have libraries for Python, Perl and Java. I know almost nothing about .NET but I guess that there are some ways to use Python or Java libraries from .NET. If this the case then developing the plugin should be quite straightforward to anyone with a previous experience in this field.
