So, I've spent a lot of time playing with this plugin and think I have it figured out but want some positive confirmation that I'm doing it correctly.
What is the correct order and way to add a dimmer light service? Specifically what do I pick under the root and what do I pick under the control?
What should I pick for a switch service?
I am discovering that if I pick what appears to be the wrong choice it crashes the plugin and sometimes, things are not recoverable and I have to reset back to factory and start over.
right now I have 8 devices working (it wasn't easy because homekit plugin kept crashing) but after lots of trial and error it's finally working with those 8 devices, three of which are aeon labs heavy duty switches
Soon, I will have the entire house controlled. Probably at least a hundred devices in all, mostly all z-wave.
When this happens, resetting the plug-in won't be an option anymore.
I've read about development on validation procedures, any more progress on this?
