      Ha.. just saw your post on the Google+ site as well :-)

      are you just looking to launch the site to a URL from within IH?

      If you go into IH on a dashboard page, click on a blank spot, and under the Generic spot... there is "link to a URL" as a selection - among others. that doesn't work?

        That doesnt work for this situation - it only creates a static URL link.

        I need to send IH a URL from Homeseer - thus it will change, often.

        Really, I'm surprised this hasn't been asked before. Its quite useful if possible. I want to send URLs to the IH dashboard so my users can click the IH widget and have it open the maps, weather reports, whatever

        I suspect it might work if we HTML Encode the URL prior to sending it to Imperihome.

        @Spud... can you create an option to HTML Encode encode text - on user specified devices?

          I would like to do this as well. I don't think Imperihome ISS API currently support this. So we first have to file a feature request at Imperihome

            @spud

            Can you please submit a feature request to Imperihome? I'm sure they'd take it more seriously coming from a developer.

            This is really needed!

              I directly contacted Imperihome and after some discussion they added it on their todo list. So as soon as they have it in the ISS API we can ask the plugin developer to add it

                Out of curiosity, what is the process for getting Imperihome to display the static image from the HomeSeer/PC wise. I currently have files stored within HomeSeer directory is it simply referring to the file location? Mike

                Any status as to timeframe Imperihome will incorporate? As Imperihome is touting its platform/capabilities is there some other solution others have looked at and if so what are the Pro/Cons?

                  Have you put any feature requests in to Imperihome?

                  They have not been improving / adding features to the API. Maybe having a developer ask might help. They don't seem to care about end users... Even beta testers like myself.

                    @Aaron, were you able to get a static map to work with Imperial home? and if so how did you format the URL? Mike
