    GE/Jasco 2-Way Switch

I hope this is the right forum for this question.

I have several dimmers (approx. 15), 2 motion sensors, a door lock and thermostat that I am currently running. I would say I have an average knowledge for electricity, seeing I was able to rewire all the dimmers to work in the house and didn't kill myself yet.

For the life of me, I can not get these GE/Jasco 2-Way (45609/ZW4001)switches to work at all. It shouldn't be this difficult, but it has been kicking me in the teeth. I feel like and idiot with this right now and refuse to call an electrician for something this simple...

The furthest I was able to get with this was the blue LED to come on in the switch, but no juice to the light. I setup the line, load, ground and neutral to the switch and no luck...

If anyone has anything for this, it would be greatly appreciated seeing this will then allow me to setup sunrise/sunset patio light settings...

    Thanks!
    Steve

I realize this is kind of an old thread but seeing how I feel like I lost 80 buck on 2 of these, I'm +1'ing this. I never got these dimmers to work. I RMA'd them and they tested as working. How they tested I have no idea as I've never been able to get them to work.

      Try this...

      Hey guys,

I know these posts are old, but I was having the same exact problem. The blue LED would come on but the switch would not turn on the light. I resolved the problem by connecting the white neutral wire to the entire bundle of white neutral wires in the back of the box, not just 1 white neutral wire.

To state differently, you will need to obtain a small piece of 14 gauge wire from home depot/lowes and connect that to the switch, then connect that 1 wire to the bundle of white wires at the back of your box and re-bundle them with a wire-nut.

      Hope this helps someone!
