TTS MP3 Sample rate

Hello,

I am using This plugin with a Windows based LMS server (on the same server as HS).
My squeezeboxes are all software based players based on squeezelite installs on Openlec.
This all works fine, and I can play all my audio files without any problems.
The thing is that when I use the plugin to send TTS messages to the squeezeboxes I can see that the speak mp3 file is played but there is no sound.
It looks like squeezelite or my HDMI output cannot handle the sample or bitrate of the mp3 that is generated.
Is it possible to tweak the format of the generated MP3?

It is using the hs.speakToFile API to generate the voice file which is then converted to mp3 (it that is what you use). Therefore will use the voice/configuration that hs.speakToFile selects. Have you tried to change the default Windows TTS voice?
