Run a windows control panel applet from event or script?

I would like to know how I can run a windows control panel applet when an event is triggered. I can run the applet from a windows run command (e.g., "desk.cpl") and from within the windows\system32 directory, but I can't get it to run within HS as an event "launch application" condition.

I'm using HS 1.6 running under WinXP SP1.

Have you tried running it from a .bat file which is launched from a HS event?

      Try this: start desk.cpl

Seems a bit clunky, but running from a batch file worked. Thanks.
