        More info on error

It appears as thougt that is the "Video" button HTML that I listed as an error. The Insteon Configuratuon HTML dies there and the rest of the page is blank.

        Hope that helps.

could be but I do not think so

I do not have a video button and am getting the error also I have attached a screen shot to a previous post

            Same problem

Yes, that is the same problem. The buttons may be different, but the same result. Not all the buttons show because of a problem in the HTML code and no Insteon link info.

I guess its not just me!

            Thanks,

              Problems with Insteon Config Page

I hope I am on the correct thread this time.

I have installed Insteon per the instructions.
              HS Version: 2.1.46
              Insteon: Version 1.4
              SDM: .202

I enable Insteon, save, go to Configure Insteon. Some of the buttons appear on the Configuration page, some partial HTML code displays (Button code) and the rest of the page is blank. It appears that the HTML code is corrupted in some way.

              Any thaoghts?

A few people are getting this, many are not. Make SURE you are not using IE7. The web services only support IE6 properly right now. The header is generated by HomeSeer. Why it works in most of the app and not in the Insteon plug-in is a mystery. I have to get Rich back on it.

I am not a HomeSeer user yet. I currently have a HomeVision unit that controls X10 and IR devices throughout our home. This includes 20+ X10 switches and modules, KeyPadLincs (X10) and RF Motion Sensors.

I plan to upgrade my system in hopes of achieving better reliability and add MCE control of lighting.

At this time, I have purchased Insteon Modules, Switches and KeyPadLinc (Insteon) and PowerLinc V2 Controller. After receipt, hopefully this Wed, I plan to D/L and install HomeSeer Trial Edition, along with the HomeVision, Insteon and MCE PlugIns. Then I'll give the system a thorough workout to see if it works for me.

With all this in mind and give the current state of the art of the Insteon PlugIn, what should I expect? I will definitely be using a mixed X10 and Insteon environment, but do not plan to need to have the Insteon devices programmed for X10 commands.

What kinds of challenges can I expect and what, if any, work arounds should I know about?

                        Insteon

                        Hi,

I have had good luck with Homeseer for many years controlling x10 devices. I have been adding/replacing x10 with Insteon controllers (29+) and have had better reliability with Insteon. There is still some quikyness, but I guess they are still working on those issues.
