Housekeeper unplugged it sometime last week. Interesting that I kept getting the message since polling was set to 0.

      Corrected yesterday morning

ok. on the lamp. I'll check the code, Polling=0 should prevent this behavior.

was there anything reported in the windows event log?

any chance someone just manually shutdown the box or HS

with no errors or clues, there's not much I can suggest

No chance anyone shut it down. Computer seemed fine - it continued to run.

          Still a mystery.

check any triggers you have associated with 14.69.75. Edit and resave the events.

you might just check any events that use an Insteon Special Trigger

but this isn't causing the shutdown issue.

Went through the events for 14.69.75 - saw nothing unusual but resaved them all.

The only Insteon Special Trigger events i have is my "Interface Reset" event; Trigger - Insteond device RF PLM Interface Crashes, action is Reset and reprogram interface, Restart Homeseer with a 1 minute delay and send me email (email is actuallyl 1st on the list)

I would not recommend using the reset and reprogram action with this trigger. if the plugin can't comm with the plm, that action won't work. and will just throw all kinds of errors.

I would suggest a restart of the pc with the interface crashes trigger. the plm database itself should be fine

                      Information Only

Came home today and nothing seemed to be happening in terms of events.

Explorer view was blank but on the host machine, native HomeSeer was visible, but seemed to be stuck several hours in the past. Gave it the shut down command. Then it tried to reset the PLM without success. Eventually it shut down.

                      Rebooted machine, working.

Regular log and error logs attached. Interesting difference in time stamps but I may be reading them wrong.

scroll down to find today's date.

i've seen the error, just not sure why its happening.

the lockup seems to be related to the plm freeze.

next time, just restart the box, trying a plm reset is not necessary.

                            anything in the windows events?

i think you should turn the hs debugging back on. i don't think this is a plugin issue

maybe the hs debug logs will reveal more information next time.

might be a good idea to change your hs pswd as well.

                              Thanks Mark:

                              No clues in Windows events.

I think I will take your suggestion and turn on the de-bug logs.

Had a similar thought about password last night since it appears to be a normal, legitimate shut-down.

                              The mystery continues.

                                Error report

System continues to shut down every couple of days or so. Today however, an error log was created.

The PLM reset routine did not work. When I got the message, HomeSeer was running without the Insteon plugin.

When I attempted to restart this was the result until power down and restart the PLM and PC.
