Ok, we are good for the 22khz voices. The plan is to offer the 22Khz and 8Khz versions. For those of you who have tested the voices, do you see a speed hit for using the 22Khz voice over the 16Khz? I'll be testing the 22Khz myself shortly.

I can run the 22Khz voices on my mini-itx system while AT&T/Neospeech have a 5 second delay, so no matter what, it will be the fastest engine, even at 22khz. I monitor my garage door with my Ocelot now, and when the door closes, Homeseer starts speaking already, versus the few seconds delay I used to have before. I can't say much about the 16khz version as I never bothered to test it, once you go 22khz, you don't go back

All I tested was the 22Khz voice, and there was no noticable delay. Especially when comparing to any of the other offerings.
