I would try reinstalling HS3. Make a backup first.

i do have nightly backups. so:

          reinstall from homeseer.com?

then copy old/backup HS3 directory on top of new install?

Is it just the Z-wave? I get this from time to time.
              I would try:

First make a copy of your entire HS3 folder and put in a safe place. This way you could always get back to that point.

              Then

              i) Disable Z-Wave plug in
              ii) Close HS3
              iii) Reboot Z-Net
              iv) Restart HS3
              v) Enable Z-Wave plug in

If still having issues take a look at the Z-Wave Controller management.

Could be just that the network is out of sync. Try disabling zwave plugin, reboot znet, then enable zwave. If it's still failing, is log same as 1st post? If not, post it.

ok... that seemed to work a bit. back up from the dashboard web interface.

but all of my Imperihome tablets still wont' sync. Can't find the HS system. Did i lose an IP somehow?

And why would this happen? what did i miss?

and also, thank you to all that are helping.

This sounds like an IP/TCP port issue. Is it possible you have two plugins or attempting to use the same port number? Have you tried disabling all other plugins to see if it works?

Reboot of the router could result in different IP's, if you are using DHCP and aren't reserving them in the router.
                      1) Does the HS box have a static IP address, or is one reserved in the router?
                      2) Same for the z-net?

I'm not familiar with Imperihome. How do the tablets get configured to know how to talk to HS3?

still working through what i thought was an IP problem.....maybe.

just checked logs and saw this. Is my znet failing?

Could be, or it could be network issues. Other symptoms? Is the znet reconnecting/working? Whats the LED on the znet doing?

Can you connect to the browser interface of the znet at that ip address? Are all your other plugins working?

For some reason this all started working again around midnight, which is nice but has me worried.

When i'd reboot HS3 and get the error above... NONE of the plugins, include zwave, were working. Light on Znet was red. I have both the HS3 server and the znet on static IPs set at the router, and I could get to the znet IP interface.

I did notice at one point on my router that my WAN IP changed (maybe when I rebooted)... I reset that in my imperihome settings at it seemed to fix that, even though that should have been using a local IP to connected on my LAN.

Logs from last total reboot look good, save for one issue on IH I posted in that forum.

Totally lost what to check next.

The other thing that happened was my HS3 server queued up the "creator's update" for win10, which I decided to run - maybe something was going on there?
