    GE/Jasco Switches

I have a fair number of GE Switches (50+) and having the same problem with 3 specific switches. These 3 switches sporadically stop working - - nothing, no events, no Alexa, no HomeSeer control, and they don't even work at the switch. If I turn the circuit breaker off, and then back on - everything functions normally for a time (sometimes days, sometimes weeks). I suspect the switches are going bad (they are several years old), but have no way to test.

Any insight (before I spring for new switches) would be appreciated.

I've had switches by other brands and have seen the same problems. Some could go even weeks to months then fail again till power cycling them. Lately I have replaced some switches (not the problem ones)with the newer HS switches, both dimmers and on/off and it seems that some of the problem switches near the replacements are behaving now that the newer zwave chips are in their proximity.

My experience with this is that it is the beginning of the end. Nearly every Jasco/GE switch I had has failed, perhaps all, and they all exhibited this behavior before the Z-wave died. Personally, you couldn't give me another anything made by Jasco/GE....

        Thanks All

Bought 3 switches and installed them over the weekend - - I'll wait a month before claiming victory.

        Thanks All
