I am using the trial of Homeseer and the Ademco plugin because I would like to use my Amazon Echo to control my Ademco Vista 20p panel. I have the system working correctly in HS3, and have added the Alexa skill to HS3, but am unable to get it to perform any commands. It either tells me the command is not recognized when I say to it, "Alexa, tell homeseer to Arm Stay Partition" The only voice command I can get it to recognize is, "Alexa, check status of Partition." Has anyone been able to get this to work to voice arm, disarm, etc? I guess I don't know what voice commands are recognized. Thanks for any assistance. If I can get this to work I am excited about automating my home.

I think right now the Amazon Connected Home API only supports on/off/dim devices and thermostats, so as chiphead said you need to create virtual on/off devices and events if you want to control your security system using Alexa.Comment
